BRIGHTON, N.Y. — The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) is set to host an open house about two bridge projects in Monroe County.
The DOT plans to replace two bridges carrying I-590 over Monroe Avenue and rehabilitate the bridges carrying I-590 over Allens Creek Road in Brighton. Preliminary work was completed in 2025, with major construction set to begin this spring, continuing through winter 2028.

At the open house, there will be displays about the project and give the opportunity for talks with State DOT representatives, who will answer questions.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Empire State University on Westfall Road.
