In Dec. 2025, Jelly Roll burst into tears when he was invited, via a video message from Morgan, to join the Opry during an interview on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Others argued that Jelly Roll wasn't considered country, though plenty rebuttled that he's "the most deserving artist❤️?" and felt "so proud" of the choice.
