Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal has carried out a major organisational reshuffle in its women’s wing, the Biju Mahila Janata Dal (BMJD), announcing a fresh set of appointments at the state, zonal and district levels.
As part of the reorganisation, the party has appointed several women leaders as State Office Bearers to further streamline the functioning of the wing.
The Zonal Presidents and Working Presidents have also been appointed for different zones to strengthen coordination and expand the party’s outreach.
In addition, District Presidents and Working Presidents have been appointed across various organisational districts with the aim of energising the grassroots structure and enhancing mobilisation of women cadres.
The appointments have been made with the approval of party President Naveen Patnaik.
