Fans of ’70s and ’80s legends Devoare in for a treat. The legendary band, founded by Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale, announced they’re adding new dates to their upcoming “Mutate Don’t Stagnate” tour. The band’s upcoming tour mixes spring and summer dates, including a performance at Coachella Music Festivalthis spring in Indio, California.
In an update to their previously announced tour dates, Devo is adding June dates spanning from Indiana to Connecticut. The band’s Connecticut show on June 13, 2026, marks Devo’s first time playing the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in over 40 years.
Founded in 1972 when Mothersbaugh and Casale met as art students, the two were soon joined by their brothers and friends, including Bob Mothersbaugh, Bob Casale, and drummer Alan Myers, the band’s classic early lineup.
Their breakthrough hit came in 1980 with the single “Whip It,” an enduring hit that is still a party playlist mainstay. After being catapulted into mainstream success in the 1980s, the band broke up in 1991 before reuniting in 1996. The band has continued to perform together on and off since that time.
