Indiana Head Coach Ray Looze, Tennessee Director of Swimming and Diving Matt Kredich, and former U.S. National Team coach Kate Lundsten have been announced as the newest inductees into the International Swim Coaches Association (ISCA) Hall of Fame as the three members of the 2026 class.
Looze is in his 24th season in Bloomington, where he has earned Big Ten Coach of the Year honors 15 times and has coached 23 NCAA champions in that time. In 2018, Looze was also named the CSCAA National Swimming Coach of the Year. Looze has also coached several international teams, including serving as an assistant coach for the US Olympic Team in Rio in 2016 and as head coach of the Short Course World Championships team in 2014.
In his time as head coach of the Hoosiers, Looze has coached his athletes to 781 All-American Honors and was also named to the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) 2021 Hall of Fame class.

Kredich, the current Director of Swimming and Diving at the University of Tennessee, earned four SEC Coach of the Year honors and led the women’s team to their first team conference title in 2020 and their second two years later in 2022. Since 2005, Kredich’s resume at Tennessee includes 102 SEC championship-winning athletes and an additional 12 NCAA title-winning athletes.
Kredich coached 24 Olympians at Tennessee, three of whom won medals. In a press release from the University of Tennessee, Kredich thanked the ISCA for this recognition and explained how “Coaching is about relationships, collaboration, and shared vision, and any success I’ve been a part of reflects the incredible athletes, colleagues, and mentors I’ve been fortunate to learn from along the way.”

Lundsten has been the Head Coach of the Aquajets Swim Team since 2004. She has been a member of several US National and US Junior National teams, including the 2017 World Junior Championships, where she was selected as the Women’s team head coach.
She was also a member of the coaching staff for both the 2018 Junior Pan Pacs and the 2019 Pan American Games. Throughout her career, Lundsten has coached the likes of Isabelle Stadden, Rachel Bootsma, Jack Dahlgren, and Heather Arseth, among many others.

Looze, Kredich, and Lundsten will all be formally honored on Friday, April 17, at the ORCA Awards in St. Petersburg, Florida.
