Northern Colorado BBB Torch Awards nominees announced

Eighteen businesses and 13 nonprofits from Northern Colorado and Wyoming have submitted applications as candidates for the 2025 Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Ethics.

The awards will be presented for the 28th year by the BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming Foundation during BBB’s Celebration of Ethics, to be held April 21 at the Embassy Suites hotel, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.     To be eligible for a BBB Torch Award for Ethics, an organization must be in business at least three years and be in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, with a B rating or better, h no unresolved complaints and free from government action. In addition, nonprofits must have completed the BBB Charity Accreditation process.

    During the application period, interested organizations completed their own applications based on BBB’s four-point Torch Awards criteria:

    ​• Character: Do the leaders of the organization behave intentionally and communicate with their leadership team, employees, customers and stakeholders in a way that is consistent with their beliefs?

    ​• Culture: Does the organization work toward a culture of trust through clarity of purpose, empowering employees, and opportunities for growth?

    ​• Customers: Does the organization employ consistent internal practices to build better customer relationships?

    ​• Community: Does the organization have programs, contributions and activities that return value to and support its community?

    Award winners were selected in January by an independent panel of judges composed of BBB board members, past Torch Award winners and community leaders.

    Loveland-based business candidates include 18 Spa, Imprint Digital, My Family Roofer and Pride Roofing & Construction.

    Fort Collins candidates include Artisan Remodeling & Design, Arula LLC, Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning/Origin Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Electrical, Hutch Design+Build, Keep Smart Books and Pride Landscape.

    Other candidates include B-Town Automotive in Berthoud, Foundation Financial & Accounting Services LLC in Greeley, Homework Design-Build-Remodel and IMOE in Windsor, Red’s Auto and Truck and Streamline Plumbing in Longmont, RemediH20 in Silt, and Sprout & Scale Marketing in Gillette, Wyoming.

    Nonprofit candidates from Fort Collins include ChildSafe Colorado, KRFC-FM 88.9, NoCo Foundation, Pathways Hospice & Palliative Care, Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center and Turning Point Center for Youth & Family Development.

    Nonprofit candidates from Loveland include Disabled Resource Services, Hearts & Horses Inc., House of Neighborly Service and Obesity Awareness in Action.

    Other nonprofit candidates include Senior Resource Services/60+ Ride in Greeley and K9s 4 Mobility in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

    The BBB Foundation Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming is a 501(c)(3) education foundation that provides ethics-based assessment, training and recognition programs for businesses, nonprofits, consumers and students.
