With the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots, it’s officially the NFL offseason for all 32 teams.
The Cardinals landed on Mike LaFleur as their next head coach, checking off a major to-do list item, but there’s still plenty to accomplish before the team reconvenes for offseason programs.
To help keep your head from spinning, here are the biggest dates and deadlines to remember this offseason as it relates to the Cardinals:

Feb. 17
Teams can begin designating franchise and transition tags. They have until March 3 to do so.
It would be a surprise if the Cardinals utilized either.
Feb. 23-March 2
The NFL Draft Scouting Combine takes place in Indianapolis.
The event provides another chance for the Cardinals to evaluate prospects ahead of the NFL Draft.

From March 9 up until the start of the league year at 2 p.m. MST on March 11, teams can enter contract negotiations with players who are set to become unrestricted free agents.

The meeting hasn’t been in Arizona since 2023.
April 6
The Cardinals and other teams who hired a new head coach this offseason can begin offseason workout programs.

The deadline for the Cardinals and the rest of the league to meet with draft prospects at their facility.

The deadline for restricted free agents to sign their offer sheets.

The deadline for teams to pick up the fifth-year option of a player drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Paris Johnson Jr. marks Arizona’s only eligible option. It’s a no-brainer move unless the team decides to extend him long-term instead. Also, a no-brainer.
May 1-4 or May 8-11
NFL teams can hold a three-day minicamp during one of these two weekends.
May 19-20
Spring league meeting in Orlando.
Mid July
Training camp kicks off.
August 8
Larry Fitzgerald’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction in Canton, Ohio.
