ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Some women leaders in business and community service in the Rochester area were honored on Thursday at the 40th annual Greater Rochester Athena International Awards.
The Greater Rochester Chamber presented the Athena Award to Naomi Silver, the president, CEO, and COO of the Rochester Red Wings. In addition, Lindsay Connelly, founder and president of Linden Digital Marketing, received the Athena Young Professional Award. The Arc of Monroe was awarded the Athena Organizational Award.
The Athena International Awards started in Lansing, Michigan in 1982. It seeks to honor the achievements of women leaders and inspire others to pursue excellence. Over 8,000 leaders from over 500 regions around the world have received the award.
