Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has confirmed that authorities are not ruling anyone out regarding a suspect or person of interest in the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.
During the Q&A portion of a press conference that took place on Thursday, Feb. 5, Nanos was asked if the people that Nancy was with on Saturday night—her daughter, Annie Guthrie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni—had been ruled out as suspects.

"We've talked to so many [people], I'm sure my investigators have feelings about 'this one's clear,' or 'this one isn't,' but no, I wouldn't say anybody's ruled out yet, because what if I rule you out and later I learn something else? No," Nanos replied.
In the same press conference, Nanos went through a timeline of what authorities believe occurred on Saturday, Jan. 31 into Sunday, Feb. 1. Nanos walked the public through what they believe happened in the overnight hours. He explained that Nancy went to dinner at her daughter Annie's nearby home around 5:30 p.m. local time on Saturday evening. After dinner and some fun family games, Annie's husband, Cioni, drove Nancy home. Her garage door went up at 9:48 p.m. local time and closed at 9:50 p.m.
At 1:47 a.m. local time, the doorbell camera was disconnected, and at 2:12 a.m., a person was detected on a motion-activated camera (it's unclear if this was the front door camera or a camera in a different area of the house). At 2:28 a.m., Nancy's pacemaker disconnected from her Apple Watch, which was left inside the home, suggesting this was the time that she left the home.
When Nancy didn't show up at church the next morning, her family went to her home to check on her. This was reported as being at 11:56 a.m. Seven minutes later, someone called 911 and police arrived at the home at 12:15 p.m.
