The Chicago Bulls continued their whirlwind of trades ahead of the NBA trade deadline, sending guard Coby White to the Charlotte Hornets.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Bulls will also send guard Mike Conley Jr., acquired by the team on Tuesday, to Charlotte as part of the trade.
In exchange, Charania reports the Bulls will receive Collin Sexton, Ousmane Dieng and three second-round picks.
White, a first-round pick of the Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft, is averaging 18.6 points and 4.7 assists per game for the team this season. He has shot 35% from the three-point arc and .438% from the field, appearing in 29 games for Chicago.
The Bulls acquired Conley from the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three-team trade on Tuesday, and he never suited up for Chicago. The veteran guard is averaging 4.4 points and 2.9 assists per game.
Sexton was a first-round pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018, and he appeared in 42 games for Charlotte this season, averaging 14.2 points and 3.7 assists per game in his first season with the Hornets.
Dieng, a center, was traded to the Hornets as part of a deal that sent Mason Plumlee to the Oklahoma City Thunder this week. He has appeared in 27 games off the bench for the Thunder, with 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in those contests.
The Bulls will next take the court when they face the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, with tipoff set for 6:30 p.m. on Prime Video.
