The midweek schedule in the SEC is lean this week. Ole Miss plays Tennessee in Knoxville while South Carolina travels to Austin to face Texas. That’s it for the Tuesday night slate. Wednesday features just 2 games as well.
Nevertheless, let’s take a look at some DFS angles to attack from Tuesday night’s action.

Tennessee F Nate Ament higher than 23.5 points+rebounds vs. Ole Miss
After scoring 20 points against Kansas on Nov. 26, Nate Ament hit the most brutal of walls. He scored more than 13 points in a game just once over the next month and a half. When Tennessee beat Texas on Jan. 6, Ament scored only 8 points (a season low) on 4 shots (a season low) in 22 minutes.
In the 6 games since, Ament has been a madman. He is averaging 21.2 points while taking 9.2 foul shots and grabbing 6.2 rebounds per game since Jan. 6. The foul shooting is key. Ament went 4-for-16 from the field against Auburn last weekend, but he knocked down 12 free throws in 15 attempts.
Ament is in a complete groove, getting to his spots on the floor and finding ways to put points on the board. He hit a dribble pull-up in the lane against Auburn that was illustrative of the type of confidence he’s currently playing with.
Ole Miss doesn’t keep teams off the foul line. In fact, the Rebels send their opponents to the free throw line at one of the highest rates in the country. They’ve gotten away with it thanks to great shooting luck at the line, but Ament is a 76% shooter from the charity stripe. Ole Miss similarly struggles to keep teams off the glass. I like this number for Ament, who has cleared 23.5 points+rebounds in 4 of his last 5.

Against the Gamecocks, the Texas offense should be going inside often. Dailyn Swain and Matas Vokietaitis should both have big games against a South Carolina defense that has given up 92-plus points in 3 straight. The Gamecocks have lost 6 of their last 7; the defense has let them down. They don’t block shots or force steals, and they give up 62% shooting at the rim. The Gamecocks have made a point to run teams off the 3-point line and keep as much as they can inside the arc, but they’re still getting burned.
Jordan Pope takes 65% of his shots from beyond the arc this season. There may be kick-out opportunities for the 12.9 points-per-game scorer, but the offense should be running through Swain inside. That’s been the case lately, and Pope has been below 12.5 points in 6 of his last 9 games.
