Thing are looking desperate for Emmerdale's Moira Dingle right, with the character being sent to prison on a double murder charge, for the deaths of Anya and Celia Daniels - crimes she didn't commit.
Of course, this has left fans worried about the character's future, fearing that actress Natalie J Robb could soon be leaving the series - however, the star has now said this isn't the case, at least not for now.
Speaking to The Mirror, on the prospect of her leaving the series, Robb said: "I think that would be the first thing they would say to you, they'd say 'This is going to be it.' I've been lucky enough just to get another contract so I think they would obviously have to say, 'Sorry, you're going to be leaving and this is gonna be your out.'
"So when they just told me about the story I didn't think that I would be leaving. I just didn't really know how long I was going to be in for, and how serious the allegations were going to be at that point."
Robb also broke down Moira's state at this moment, saying: "She just feels like she's losing everything. She's got Cain to worry about. In a weird way, I think that's what's getting her through where she's at at the minute. She's just so overwhelmed by the fact that it's actually all happening. She can't believe it."
She also said that fans will see Moira with the "odd black eye and grazed knuckles" during her time in prison, but added that "she'll always fight back".
Robb has been a part of the Emmerdale cast since 2009, and is therefore a real mainstay of the soap. Fans will no doubt be relieved to hear that she will be sticking around as Moira - even if it currently isn't clear just what the future holds for the character.
It's a troubling time for the Dingle clan generally, as Moira's husband Can is set to receive a diagnosis of prostate cancer, in a storyline that will play out this upcoming week.
