January 30, 2026 Knoxville, Tennessee — Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center SCY (25 Yards) Full Meet Results Team Scores: Women: #9 Tennessee 184 — #16 Duke 110 Men: #9 Tennessee 198 — Duke 88In Tennessee’s last dual meet of the regular season, both the men’s and women’s teams posted wins over Duke. Both teams will finish the season with a 5-4 record in dual meets.
Women’s Recap
The Tennessee women won most of the events during the meet including both relays. They started with the top time in the 200 medley relay.
Midseason addition Mizuki Hirai led off in backstroke, splitting 24.23 to get out ahead of star Duke backstroker Ali Pfaff‘s 24.45. The breaststroke leg saw Duke’s Kaelyn Gridley split 27.10 to put the Blue Devils in the lead by just three hundredths over Tennessee who had Simone Moll split 27.35 on the breaststroke leg.
Ella Jansen pulled the Vols back in to the lead, splitting 23.12 on the fly to pass Heather White‘s 23.91 for Duke. Finally, Camille Spink anchored in 20.82 to lock up the win in 1:35.52. Duke’s anchor Tatum Wall was 21.48 to secure 2nd place in 1:36.94.
Tennessee’s McKenzie Siroky had the fastest breaststroke split in the field on the ‘B’ relay, touching in 26.44.
The 200 free relay also saw a Tennessee victory with the team of Lilly Daley, Julia Burroughs, Emily Armen, and Camille Spink swimming 1:28.60 to come in half-a-second ahead of Duke’s 1:29.16. Tatum Wall led off for Duke in 21.70, which was the fastest leadoff split in the field. The splits are not available after the leadoff legs.
The Volunteers saw huge performances from sophomore Ella Jansen, who leaped up the season rankings in her two event wins. Jansen started with the top time in the 200 fly, swimming a personal best 1:52.88 to come in more than five seconds ahead of Duke’s Martina Peroni (1:59.14). This was a drop from her previous best of 1:53.90 from December and moved her up to 7th in the country this season.
Jansen also won the 400 IM, swimming a season best 4:02.50, which is just off the 4:01.61 she swam at last year’s SEC Championships. This is currently the 4th fastest time in the NCAA, moving her ahead of UVA’s Katie Grimes in 4:03.34.
Camille Spink also won two events for Tennessee, earning the top time in the 50 free at 21.52, about two tenths off her season best 21.25 from the CSCAA Challenge. In the 100 free, Spink swam 47.01, about five tenths off her season best of 46.54.
Mizuki Hirai took the top time in the 100 fly at 52.00. This was more than two seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher, teammate Amelia Mason, who swam 54.25. It was half-a-second over the 51.49 mark she swam last weekend against Georgia.
Avery Luedke and Nicole Zettel split the distance free events. Luedke won the 1650 in 16:36.44 while Zettel swam a season best 4:47.88.
Emily Brown was Tennessee’s other individual event winner, taking the top 200 free time of 1:45.18, a bit off her season best 1:44.88 from November.
Duke picked up a few event wins of their own. Backstroker Ali Pfaff swept her events, winning the 100 in 51.74 and the 200 in 1:52.94. She was off her season bests of 51.06 and 1:51.99 in both.
The Blue Devils also won both breaststroke events with senior Kaelyn Gridley touching in 58.53 in the 100 and 2:09.12 in the 200. She was also off her season bests of 58.14 and 2:04.94 in both.
Duke and Tennessee both picked up one diving event win as well. Tennessee’s Emma Rhines won the 1-Meter in 293.50, just 0.25 points ahead of Duke’s Keira Lu who scored 293.25. Lu won the 3-meter by a little more than a point, scoring 314.55 to come in ahead of Tennessee’s Lynae Shorter who scored 313.30.
Men’s Recap
The Tennessee men also won most of their events and took the top two spots in both relays. They opened with the win in the 200 medley relay with Ulises Saravia (21.53), Gabe Nunziata (23.78), Gui Caribe (19.94), and Nikoli Blackman (18.92) swimming 1:24.17. They came in ahead of the Tennessee ‘B’ relay who swam 1:26.27
The 200 free relay saw Gui Caribe (19.14), Pedro Sansome (19.08), Nikoli Blackman (19.31) and Kamal Muhammad (20.54) swim 1:17.07 for the win by almost two seconds over the Tennessee ‘B’ who swam 1:18.75 for 2nd place.
On top of swimming on both relays, Gui Caribe set the pace for the Volunteer men picking up two event wins in the 50 free and 100 fly. He swam 19.02 in the 50, a little more than half-a-second off his season best 18.47. In the 100 fly, he was 46.46 to beat teammate Nick Simons by four tenths. His season best stands at 45.44.
Freshman Mac Clark won both distance events for the Vols, swimming 15:13.83 in the 1650 and 4:25.00 in the 500. Both were new season best times.
Koby Bujak-Upton won the middle distance freestyle events, accomplishing a Tennessee sweep of the freestyles. In the 200, he was 1:32.83 to win by almost four seconds over Simons and in the 100 free, he swam 42.67 to come in three tenths ahead of Kamal Muhammad, who also swims for Tennessee.
Ben Bricca was the final dual-event winner for the Vols, sweeping the backstroke events with his 46.60 in the 100 and 1:44.06 in the 200.
Gabe Nunziata (200 breast — 1:55.05) and Tony Laurito (400 IM — 3:51.21) were Tennessee’s other swimming event winners.
The Vols also won both diving events with Bennett Greene scoring 381.45 in the 1-Meter and 432.55 in the 3-Meter.
The Blue Devil men also picked up a few individual event wins. Justin Wong won the 200 fly in 1:47.26, a new season best time for him, coming in more than two seconds ahead of Tennessee’s Aidan Hill, who swam 1:49.48.
Kalen Anbar was their other winner, taking the 100 breast in 54.00, about a second off his season best of 52.83. He came in just three hundredths ahead of teammate Jack Smith‘s 54.03.
