Abigail Breslin was just 10 years old when she made the beloved indie film Little Miss Sunshine, and the actress just reunited with her castmates 20 years later.
Little Miss Sunshine was a 2006 film that followed a dysfunctional family as they traveled to take Olive, played by Breslin, to compete in a child beauty pageant in their yellow Volkswagen van. With a supporting cast that included Steve Carell as a severely depressed Proust scholar, Alan Arkin as a troublemaking grandpa, Toni Collette as a devoted mom, Greg Kinnear as a life coach father, and Paul Dano as Olive's brother from a previous marriage, it's the perfect cast of misfits for comedy and drama.
The film became a runaway hit after its original Sundance Film Festival premiere and went on to earn over $100 million at the box office. But it also earned critical acclaim, with Academy Awards for Arkin in the Best Supporting Actor Category and writer Michael Arndt for Best Original Screenplay. (Arkin died in 2023.) As for Breslin, she joined the elite group of young children who earned Oscar noms, scoring a Best Supporting Actress nomination for herself at the age of 11.
This week, Breslin made a rare red carpet appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in honor of the film's 20th anniversary. Now 29, Breslin has gone on to roles in films like Zombieland and August: Osage County, and the popular TV series Scream Queens.

Breslin is Married Now
At 29, Breslin is thriving in adulthood. She's married to husband Ira Kunyansky, and the couple recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary.
“Happy 3 year wedding anniversary, babekin,” she captioned a sweet Instagram selfie of the duo. “I love u so much.”
In a recent interview, Breslin shared that married life is the right fit for her.
“I get to hang out with my best friend all the time, which is really fun,” she told PEOPLE. “I hate that he takes the blankets and doesn't keep his sink clean enough, that's my biggest issue, but my best thing is that he is my best friend and I love going to hang out with him for the rest of my life."
