The guests were announced Thursday morning via Instagram following the original concert announcement in early December. The concert is set for August 23 and will mark the last scheduled European show in Clapton's 2026 tour.
The show will be a one-off performance held at the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, U.K. The historical English landmark is a prestigious high-capacity outdoor venue with a history of hosting notable performers.
Clapton and Wood share a history of long-term friendship. Throughout the rockers' careers, the two have connected several times to collaborate and provide concert support. The two English rock icons met in the 1960s, running in similar social circles during the London blues-rock scene. From there, the pair built a lifelong bond on like-minded musical ambition and mutual respect.

The pair have appeared at several live concerts together, with recent collaborations including the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival, the 2023 Jeff Beck tribute concert and now the upcoming Norfolk show.
