The photos immediately drew concern from fans, not just because of the visible injuries, but because of the severity of what Harrison described: 11 broken ribs and several nights in the hospital. While he did not share specific details about how the accident occurred, his mention of crash bars suggests it involved a vehicle or motorcycle.
The timing of the injuries also added an emotional layer to the update because Harrison will have to miss his father’s upcoming wedding.
Earlier this month, Corey's dad Rick Harrisonannounced that he had married Angie Polushkin in Las Vegas. Rick shared photos and video from the ceremony in a joint Instagram post with his new wife, writing, “1/3/26 we became Mr & Mrs Harrison ?.”

According to People, the couple tied the knot on January 3 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, where they were married by an Elvis Presley impersonator. The intimate ceremony was followed by a small celebration at Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern, located near the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.
The Las Vegas wedding, however, was only part of the plan. Rick later explained that the couple is also planning a destination wedding in Cancun. “We’re gonna get married in Cancun, but we had to get married in the States first,” he told Fox News. “We just didn’t want to go to the courthouse, so we had a flashy little wedding [in Vegas]. Literally had a little reception at my bar, and then later we're going to go to Mexico, where it's the big thing."

Based on Corey’s post, it appears his injuries may prevent him from attending the upcoming destination celebration, even though he was able to acknowledge the wedding with humor and trademark understatement.
Despite the severity of the accident, Harrison’s tone remained upbeat, reassuring followers that he is “good” and already thinking ahead. He also teased that he plans to address the incident on his podcast, The Corey Harrison Show, suggesting fans will eventually hear the full story directly from him.
For now, the reality-TV staple is focused on recovery, with fans across the Pawn Stars universe wishing him a steady and complete healing.
