Top Chef winner Kelsey Clark was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a late-night crash in Alabama, according to police.
According to records obtained by TMZ, authorities in Dothan, AL, responded to a call the night of Wednesday, January 22, after Clark allegedly drove her vehicle into a mailbox on a residential street. When officers arrived at the scene, they said the 36-year-old smelled strongly of alcohol and showed multiple signs of impairment.
According to police, Clark was asked to perform a series of field sobriety tests, including walking in a straight line and standing on one foot. Officers noted that her performance raised concerns and led them to believe she was not fit to drive. She was taken into custody and booked at the Dothan City Jail on a DUI charge.
