Chris Noth has revealed that he is no longer on speaking terms with Sarah Jessica Parker
In exclusive clip released by People, from an upcoming Monday, Jan. 26, episode of Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson, Noth stated that his friendship with Parker ended after he was accused of sexual assault.
"We're not friends, I think that's pretty obvious," Noth said in the interview.
In December 2021, two women came forward and alleged that Noth had sexually assaulted them in 2004 and 2015 respectively. Another woman came forward and accused Noth of sexual misconduct and musician Lisa Gentile alleged Noth sexually assaulted her in 2002.
Noth has vehemently denied all sexual assault and misconduct allegations against him. He has admitted to engaging in extramarital sexual encounters but maintains that these were consensual.
At the time the allegations surfaced, Parker, along with her Sex and the City co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, released a statement standing behind the women speaking out against Noth.
"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth," they wrote in 2021. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."
In the Jan. 26 interview with Robinson, Noth criticized the joint statement released by his co-stars.
"The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really — I don't know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising, because you need to call me and hear my side of this," Noth said. "And you've known me for many years, and we've worked [together] for many years. And that didn't happen."
Noth continued, "I get it, that's more Hollywood than Hollywood. But before you make that statement, you know me, you’ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn't happen, and that was too bad."
