Lowery put together an incredible 2024 season for the Catamounts, finishing with 48 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 14 defended passes. He earned All-American accolades from multiple media outlets, including the Associated Press (Second-Team) and Sports Illustrated’s FCS Football Central (Third-Team).
After the 2024 campaign, he transferred to East Carolina. In his lone season with the Pirates, he finished with 27 tackles and one forced fumble in 12 appearances.
He started 9 times in 2025. Across 36 appearances for Western Carolina and ECU, Lowery made 23 starts.
Lowery is a rising redshirt senior. He is Florida’s fifth defensive back transfer and its 25th overall addition to the team via the transfer portal. The Gators have also added safety DJ Coleman (Baylor), safety Cam Dooley (Kentucky), safety Elijah Owens (Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C.), and corner Kanye Clark (UCLA).
