Knots Landing troublemaker Donna Mills may be 85, but she's just as spry as she was in the '80s.
The blonde beauty, who started her career in Clint Eastwood’s 1971 film Play Misty for Me, became a star in Knots, the primetime soap opera that was a spinoff of the beloved TV drama Dallas. Mills played the role of chaotic Abby Cunningham, known for causing trouble all over Los Angeles. The show ran from 1979 to 1993, but Mills departed in 1989 and went on to several popular TV movies.
More recently, Mills appeared on General Hospital and in Jordan Peele‘s 2022 horror filmNope. Last year, she returned to TV screens with an appearance on Doctor Odyssey and started a podcast, We’re Knot Done Yet, with former KnotsLanding stars Joan Van Ark and Michele Lee. Wherever she goes, her Knots fandom follows!
Yesterday, Mills headed to El Segundo, California, to attend a media launch event for a new racquet sport, TYPTI, hosted by Steve Bellamy at California Smash. At 85, the blonde beauty can still swing a racket like a champion on the court.

In celebration of her recent 85th birthday, Mills shared a stunning photo of herself on Instagram with some touching words of wisdom in the caption. With her blonde, wavy hair shining, the TV star made it clear that she still knows how to command a camera.

This past October, Mills joined Morgan Fairchild, Jaclyn Smith, and Alana Stewart to honor their late friend, Farrah Fawcett, at the Farrah Fawcett Foundation 2025 Tex-Mex Fiesta. Smith is best known for her role as Kelly Garrett on the iconic series Charlie’s Angels, while Fairchild rose to stardom on shows like Flamingo Road and Falcon Crest. Of course, we’ll always love her appearances on Murphy Brown and Roseanne. Stewart, who was previously married to George Hamilton and Rod Stewart, wrote a book, My Journey with Farrah: A Story of Life, Love, and Friendship, and filmed a documentary, Farrah’s Story, about Fawcett. She is the President and CEO of the organization.
In honor of Fawcett’s legacy, the organization raises funds for HPV-related cancer research, patient assistance funds during treatment, and prevention programs to help spread the word.
