ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a store early Saturday morning at Chili Ave and Sherwood Ave.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident just after 4 a.m. A white Buick SUV reportedly lost control while overtaking another car, crashing into the Sherwood Mini Mart.
Officers said the occupants of the car fled the scene. The Rochester Fire Department reported no structural damage to the building. Store owners worked with authorities to board up the damaged area.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
