Da’Shawn Womack is looking to continue his college football career with a third team.

After 1 season at Ole Miss, Womack told Hayes Fawcett of On3 that he is going back in the transfer portal. He played his first 2 seasons at LSU.

    Womack appeared in all 15 games of the Rebels’ 2025 campaign. He recorded 27 total tackles, including 14 solo stops and 4.5 TFLs with 2 sacks. Womack also had 1 forced fumble.

    Before arriving in Oxford, Womack spent his first 2 seasons at LSU. He played in 20 games for the Tigers over the 2023 and ’24 seasons.

    Womack was a rotational player for LSU who didn’t make any starts. As a Tiger, Womack had 21 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks. In 2024, he logged the only 4 pass breakups of his career so far.

    Out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Womack was a highly sought-after recruit in the 2023 recruiting class. On the 247Sports Composite, Womack was rated the No. 32 prospect overall nationally, placing him on the cusp of being a 5-star recruit.

    Womack enters the 2026 season with 1 full season of remaining eligibility.
