Welcome to day 2 of the 2026 Pro Swim Series in Austin! We saw some great racing last night in finals, including Katie Ledecky throwing down the 2nd-fastest 1500 free of all-time. Here’s what we have on the docket for this morning:
THURSDAY PRELIMS EVENT SCHEDULE
Women’s 50 Breast Men’s 50 Breast Women’s 100 Fly Men’s 100 fly Women’s 200 Back Men’s 200 Back Women’s 400 Freestyle Men’s 400 FreestyleAfter winning the men’s 100 breast last night, Van Mathias is back as the top seed in the men’s 50 breast this morning. Mathias is entered with a 26.76.
Regan Smith will not be racing the 200 back after clocking a 57 in the women’s 100 back last night. Instead, Smith will be racing in the 100 fly this morning, where she’s the top seed. Summer McIntosh is also entered in the 100 fly this morning.
After her excellent performance in the women’s 1500 free last night, Katie Ledecky will be back in action in the women’s 400 free. With no Summer McIntosh in the field, Ledecky is the top seed with a 3:56.81.
The men’s 400 free field is very tight this morning. Lucas Henveaux leads the entries with a 3:44.61, however, there are 5 other swimmers in the field seeded at 3:46 or faster.
