Rolling green hills, especially vibrant after recent rains, greet visitors on the Eucalyptus Loop Trail in Chino Hills.
Hikers get a scenic escape trekking along the trail with a chance to spot a few long-haired or long-horned cows and cattle.
The opportunity to see the animals grazing nearby has helped the trail’s popularity go viral on social media in recent weeks.
The trail draws people from throughout the region.
“I’m always looking for some new easy enough trails to go on with my dogs, and when I saw this, I really wanted to come, I think the green, almost fake screen saver looking hills is why I love it so much,” Pomona resident Jennifer Goodwin said. “We come and sit for a bit and admire all the time now.”

A full parking lot at Chino Hills Community Park, 3280 Eucalyptus Ave., is often the first sign visitors have arrived at the right place.
The crowds seem to have grown, but there’s still room to enjoy quiet moments and sweeping views.
The crowds are “inevitable,” said Tony Pada, while on a recent hike, “because it really blew up online.”
