Trevor Noah is set to host the 2026 Grammy Awards for the sixth consecutive year. The show will be held on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The comedian will become the first person to host the Grammys six years running since Andy Williams hosted the first seven live telecasts from 1971 to 1977. But Noah will not seek to tie or break that velvet-voiced crooner’s record. In a statement announcing the news, Ben Winston, executive producer of the Grammys, said this will be Noah’s final year as host.

“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston, of Fulwell Entertainment, said. “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”
One other Grammy host has hosted six times, but it wasn’t in consecutive years. John Denver hosted in 1978-79 and again from 1982 to 1985.
This will also be the show’s final year on CBS, ending a run with the network that began in 1973. The Recording Academy announced in October 2024 that the show would move to ABC, Hulu and Disney+ starting with the 2027 show.

Noah will also serve as an executive producer of this year’s Grammys, along with Winston, Raj Kapoor and Jesse Collins.
Noah is nominated for a Grammy this year for best audio book, narration and storytelling recording for Into the Uncut Grass. It’s his fourth nomination — and the third year in a row he has been nominated. His first three Grammy nods were all for best comedy album for Son of Patricia in 2020, I Wish You Would in 2024 and Where Was I last year.
The 2026 Grammy Awards, produced by Fulwell Entertainment for the Recording Academy, will be broadcast live on CBS and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. The show is scheduled to run for three and a half hours, from 8 to 11:30 p.m. live ET/5 to 8:30 p.m. live PT.
