SVCTE is open to students in Santa Clara County, and transportation is free for students to and from schools in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District. Students register through their home high school counselor to enroll.

New courses this term include an AI engineering course and a pre-apprenticeship in metals technology.

Students in the former course will design intelligent systems, apply Python coding and use machine learning to solve real-world challenges.

Students enrolled in the metals technology course will have access to a newly approved Field Ironworkers Pre-Apprenticeship program, authorized by the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
