The Greeley-Evans School District 6 middle school art show is now underway.
The show officially opened on Jan. 5 and will remain up through Feb. 13 at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden St., in Evans.
The show includes roughly 80 works of art from middle school students throughout District 6, with the exception of those in charter schools.

(Brice Tucker/Staff Photographer)Alison Myers, the middle school art instructor at Chappelow K-8 Arts Magnet School, said the show is an annual display that was previously housed at the District 6 Administration Building but later relocated to the Riverside Library.
The Riverside Library and Cultural Center is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
“It gives the community a different opportunity to see the artwork and then also it gives the library an opportunity to maybe welcome some new people into their space,” Myers said.

Students, parents and the community at-large are invited to attend the show.
“It’s a really good opportunity to reflect on what students are engaged in and how they’re showing up with their creative work,” Myers said. “For the community and for the larger audience, it’s just a good opportunity to really see what’s happening … in schools.”
