After taking a short social media break to end 2025, Candace Cameron Bure was back with a big announcement on Monday, Jan. 5. The Full House actress is getting ready to kick off the 13th season of her popular self-titled podcast, but she won't be doing it alone.
Bure has teamed up with Bachelor star Madison Prewett Troutt, who will be co-hosting the weekly podcast with the actress.
"Season 13 drops TOMORROW! Let’s welcome Madi Prewett Trout as the co-host for this season, which is all about living an honest life," Bure captioned an Instagram post.
"I loved sitting down with Madison to talk about living boldly for Christ and how staying true to your convictions can help you navigate life’s ups and downs with confidence and joy," read a quote from the announcement.
Prewett Troutt hosted her own podcast, "Stay True" which launched in 2024. The "Stay True" podcast is described as a show “full of truth, relatable ‘me too’ moments and real-life advice on how to stay true to your values, beliefs and standards."
Fans took to the comments section of Bure's recent post to react to her exciting news.
"So excited for @madiprew," one comment read.
"Wild you’re already on Season 13. Praise God!!!" someone else said.
"Can’t wait!!!" a third Instagram user wrote.
Weeks before the big announcement, Bure shared that she was going to be taking some time off from social media to be present with her family.
“Guys, I’m gonna take a social break, but it may not be for a few more days,” Bure wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Dec. 20.
The move wasn't all that uncommon for Bure, however, who has been taking a short hiatus from socials at the end of every year.
“It’s time to take my annual social media break and I encourage you to do the same,” she captioned an Instagram post in December 2023. “It’s a breath of fresh air not being tied to my phone over the Christmas holiday…gives me more time to focus on my family and the reason for the season,” she continued, adding, “I hope you have a holly jolly Christmas and I’ll see you next year.”
