Chicago police are investigating after three individuals were seriously injured in a shooting in North Lawndale Monday.
According to authorities, the victims were standing outside in the 3400 block of West 15th Street at approximately 10:10 a.m. Monday when an unknown assailant opened fire.
A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back and neck, and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.
A second victim, a 27-year-old woman, was shot in the stomach, and was hospitalized in serious but stable condition, police said.
Finally, a 29-year-old man was shot in the right arm, and was listed in serious but stable condition at an area hospital.
A suspect fled the scene in a gray sedan, but no further details were available.
Area Four detectives are investigating the shooting.
