Savannah Guthrie is quietly giving fans a post-surgery update.
After announcing last month that she would have to temporarily step back from anchoring the Today show in order to undergo vocal cord surgery, Guthrie sent fans a message on social media to let everyone know that she is on her way to recovery.

Sharing an Instagram post on Monday, Jan. 5, Guthrie, 54, uploaded a photo of herself in bed holding up a white board with a message written on it, since she is unable to speak for two weeks as she recovers from the surgery.
"All good!" her message read, along with, "Thanks for prayers and love!"

Guthrie was flooded with supportive messages and well wishes in the comments, including one from former Today co-hostHoda Kotb, who wrote, "Feel better my girlxxxx."
"Can't wait to hear that voice again soon ❤️" the Today Radio Show Instagram account added in the comments.
Guthrie revealed on the Dec. 19 episode of the Today show that she had been suffering from a "very scratchy" voice caused by vocal nodules and a polyp on her vocal cords.
"It’s not a big, big deal. But I am going to have to have a surgery real early in the new year and be off for a couple of weeks," she revealed at the time.
