Sarah Paulson is commemorating Diane Keaton's birthday with a touching tribute for the late icon.
On Monday, Jan. 5, what would have been Keaton's 80th birthday, Paulson took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message and reveal her new tattoo in honor of the beloved actress, who died of pneumonia in October 2025.

Beginning her post with a sunset silhouette photo of her and Keaton, Paulson, 51, wrote in the caption, "You would have been 80 today," as she reminisced on her friendship with the late Annie Hall star.
The two actresses developed a friendship after starring together in the 1999 film The Other Sister, in which Keaton played Paulson's mother.
The second photo in Paulson's post gave fans a glimpse at the small "DK" tattoo on Paulson's forearm, a lasting reminder of her connection to Keaton.

The tattoo shop also shared an Instagram post about Paulson's new tribute ink on Monday, calling the All's Fair actress an "incredible friend" for her homage to Keaton.
"What you did for your people in time of heavy grief was just Amazing!" the tattoo artist wrote in the post, while sharing a selfie with Paulson. "Happy I got to share that moment with you!"
