ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Families celebrated the New Year early at the Seneca Park Zoo with a “Noon Year’s Eve” event. Visitors had the chance to welcome 2026 without staying up late.
At noon, the zoo hosted two special ball drops, one at the rhino exhibit and another at the snow leopard exhibit. Each drop featured a paper-mâché ball filled with treats for the animals.
Organizers said it was a fun way to start the New Year surrounded by nature and community.
