Apple TV has ordered more sessions with Jimmy Laird! The streamer's acclaimed series Shrinking, co-created by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, is returning for a third season. The renewal news was announced at New York Comic Con 2024, the day after the second season premiered.

"It has been wonderful to watch audiences around the world fall in love with the memorable characters and rich world that Bill, Brett and Jason have created in ‘Shrinking,'" Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV, said in a statement. “We are incredibly excited for viewers to see where life takes Jimmy, Paul, Liz, Gabby, Alice, Sean, Brian and Derek next as they continue on their moving, heartwarming and very funny journey in season three."
Prior to the comedy landing a renewal for Season 3, Segel told Parade that they had a plan for a third season. He said, "I think that we're kind of following some of the stages of grief as a template. If Season 1 was about grief itself, Season 2 is about forgiveness. And we have a plan for Season 3 as well. It's just like watching someone get to the other side of something."
