Authorities on Sunday were searching for whoever shot three men in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on Chicago’s Southwest Side, police said.
At approximately 4:11 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 78th Place near South Racine Avenue, a male suspect standing near the sidewalk fired shots toward three other men. A 30-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and taken to an area hospital, police said.
The second victim, a 33-year-old man, was shot in the foot and brought by paramedics to a local hospital. A third victim, a 38-year-old man, was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the hip.
All three victims were said to be in stable condition, police stated.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction and hadn’t been apprehended as of Sunday afternoon.
Area Two detectives were investigating the shooting.
