A man died on Christmas morning, Dec. 25, five days after a vehicle hit him and fled in Fullerton.
Officers responded just after 10:20 p.m. on Dec. 20 to South Gilbert Street and Carol Drive, where a car hit a pedestrian and the driver drove away, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
Paramedics took the pedestrian, 58-year-old Lulian DeGeratu of Fullerton, to a trauma center in critical condition. He died days later on Christmas morning, police said.
The investigation is ongoing. Police described the suspect vehicle as a white, four-door sedan that may have front-end damage.
