He also brought out longtime collaborator Clementine Douglas for a live performance of “Miracle Maker,” sending the crowd into overdrive.
The Allianz Stadium show capped a banner year for Dolla, who in November became the inaugural recipient of the ARIA Global Impact Award — created to recognise Australian artists achieving major international success and cultural influence. He was also the first electronic artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone Australia/New Zealand.
“I really love representing Australian music — especially Aussie dance music — when I tour around the world,” Dolla told Rolling Stone AU/NZ at the time. “I’m so proud to fly the flag wherever I go.”
