ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’ve detained two people after an investigation into gunfire on Dayton Street off Hudson Avenue on Sunday.
Officers responded to reports of shots being fired around 8 p.m., but no people or buildings were hit. RPD eventually got a description of a car believed to be involved, and officers say they pulled over a car matching that description around Portland and Clifford Avenues.
Officers say they found a handgun inside the car. RPD is still investigating and no charges have been announced.
