WEEK 16 CHICAGO BEARS INACTIVES — The Bears did some roster shuffling before Saturday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Headlining Saturday’s transactions was the activation of linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who had been on injured reserve since Nov. 22 because of a groin injury. Edmunds missed four games, but Chicago’s football team went 3-1 in those contests. Alexander will revert back to the practice squad after the game. The 28-year-old wideout has seven games of NFL experience under his belt. But to this point of his career, he has played more snaps on special teams (44) than on offense. It isn’t ideal to call up practice squad receivers for high-stakes rivalry games. However, it is an all-hands-on-deck ordeal at Soldier Field tonight with Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze being among the Bears inactives for Week 16.
