My Chemical Romance left fans in mixed emotions after dropping unexpected changes for their upcoming tour.
In June, the 2000s rock band confirmed scheduled performances in major cities across Asia, including South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia as part of The Black Parade 2026 Tour.
The Asia leg is part of the band’s global concert run, which was set to kick off in Bogotá, Colombia with the South American dates and conclude in California in October during the North American shows.
However, ahead of the long-awaited shows, My Chemical Romance surprised fans by announcing updates to the upcoming tour.
In an Instagram post, the band confirmed that the scheduled Asian shows had been postponed but would proceed as planned at a later date.
“We will be postponing our upcoming Southeast Asia dates until November 2026. These shows are not canceled!” the post reads.

Nov. 10 and 11 - Singapore, Singapore
Nov. 14 - Bulacan, Philippines
Nov. 17 - Bangkok, Thailand

Initially, the Asian leg was set to begin on April 10 in Incheon, South Korea, followed by shows in Bangkok, Thailand on April 22; Bulacan, Philippines on April 25; Singapore on April 28; a two-night stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 30 and May 1; and concluding in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 3.
Despite the changes, the “I Don’t Love You” hitmakers expressed excitement about seeing their fans in November.

Please see the info below for your specific market. We very much look forward to coming to see you all in November. All other shows for 2026 will continue as planned. Thank you for your understanding and continued support,” the post continued.
Unfortunately, the announcement did not sit well with some fans, as others expressed disappointment and called for clarity on the real reason behind the changes.
“So so disappointed…, no apology, no explanation.,. people booked flight tickets and hotels for the original date???” one wrote.
“Guys, this is a 7-month postponement. I think we deserve to know the reason for this postponement,” a fan added.
A commenter pointed out the same stance, noting, “If you can’t give a good reason, at least have the courtesy to apologize. What a poorly written statement.”
