ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Brighton Police Department gave back to the community this holiday season by packing and delivering food baskets on Tuesday morning.
The food baskets were assembled in part with the Rochester Police Department, Tops Markets, Summit Federal Credit Union, and the Brighton Food Cupboard.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to go out and see people – maybe they’re scared and don’t know why we’re there- we’re not breaking bread with them – see us in a different light that they’ve never seen us in before,” said Sergeant Rebecca Halpin, Brighton Police Department.
