Damascus, Dec. (SANA) The Syrian Journalists’ Union wrapped up its three-day dialogue sessions on Sunday at the Seven Gates Hotel in Damascus, highlighting the challenges facing both government media and the Union in present-day Syria.
Khaled al-Khalaf, Director General of the Al-Wahda Foundation for Press and Printing, who emphasized that rebuilding public trust in government media is a gradual process that requires time. Al-Khalaf added that the Ministry of Information is taking serious steps to address this issue.
Al-Khalaf also stressed the importance of government media in strengthening the bond between the state and its citizens. He touched on the significance of digitization and technological advancement, noting that government media has made significant strides in this area.
