Micah Parsons went down with a non-contact knee injury late in the third quarter of the Week 15 Packers-Broncos game. He was seen grabbing his knee, but did walk off the field with the assitance of the training staff. Shortly after the Packers lost Parsons to the injury, the team gave up the lead. And not too long after that, the Broncos would take control of the contest and win the game with a late second-half push.
Parsons is a certified game-wrecker. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro. Since joining the Packers after a preseason trade with the Dallas Cowboys, Parsons has collected 12.5 sacks, 26 quarterback hits, and 12 tackles-for-loss. He was certainly on his way to another Pro Bowl and some more All-Pro consideration. It would surprise me if Parsons avoided a major injury, but I’m hoping that it isn’t as bad as initially feared. No player deserves to see their season go down
