The break occurred at the intersection of Blossom and Ellison Hills Drive around 10:30 a.m.
The road was closed from the entrance of Ellison Park to Browncroft Boulevard as crews worked to repair the water main.
Officials said the cause of the break is unknown, but deputies noted that such breaks are more common due to freezing temperatures.
