The comedian and former Dancing With the Stars competitor, Andy Dick, was reportedly found unresponsive in Hollywood from a drug overdose. While the actor told TMZ he is doing okay, he says going to rehab is out of the question.
TMZ posted a video of the comedian slumped on concrete steps, and someone reportedly administering Narcan, a drug meant to reverse the effects of an opioid addiction. While Dick didn't seek medical help afterwards, he did reach out to the media outlet to say he was doing fine.
On Wednesday, Dick invited TMZ into his L.A. home, where he was accompanied by two of his friends. While posing the question about getting professional help and possibly entering rehab, Dick gave a curt answer.
"F–k no," he said. "I’m not going to be in rehab."
Meanwhile, the two friends by his side chimed in that they never expected to be looking out for the comedian in this way and plan to keep a closer eye on him. TMZ then asked if Dick was in a good place mentally.
"Love it. I’m surrounded by my two friends … it’ll be hard for me to escape them," he said, while also implying that he would inevitably try to escape.

♬ original sound - TMZ - TMZDick also revealed in the interview that he had smoked drugs with a "random man" before his overdose. He reasoned that he didn't "mind doing a little crack every now and then."
The media outlet then asked Dick if any celebrity had reached out, with his friend answering that Terminator star Edward Furlong did call the comedian.
His friend elaborated that Furlong had reached out to tell Dick how much he loved and cared for him. The actor also advised Dick to stop taking drugs, seeing as Furlong himself has been sober for 10 years.
Dick's friends chime in that many people have reached out despite the comedian believing it's untrue, with one of them having shared he was genuinely scared after the overdose incident.
