Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) was a nonparticipant in Wednesday’s practice, while rookie defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (knee) was limited in his return to the practice field.
Arizona (3-10) is ramping up to play the Texans (8-5) in Houston on Sunday.
A slew of Cardinals players were not seen during the open portion of practice, with Budda Baker, Josh Sweat, Kelvin Beachum, Dalvin Tomlinson, Bilal Nichols and Evan Brown all in that group. Baker, Sweat, Beachum, Tomlinson and Brown were all not getting in work due to rest or personal reasons. Nichols was listed as dealing with a knee injury.
Safety Jalen Thompson, receiver Xavier Weaver and cornerback Dadrion Taylor-Demerson were nonparticipants but all were seen doing work on the side.
Cornerback Max Melton (heel) and running back Emari Demercado (ankle) also returned to practice.
Running back Trey Benson had the rest of his season shut down after coach Jonathan Gannon announced he will not come off injured reserve.
For Houston, current RB1 Woody Marks (knee) did not practice on Wednesday and team tackles leader Azeez Al-Shaair (ankle) was also a nonparticipant.
