Serena Williams previously gave fans a bit of insight into what her life off the court would look like, telling Porter Magazine that she's prioritizing entrepreneurship.
And she's standing on business, with the most recent announcement putting her back in the spotlight. The 44-year-old is taking the lead in a new, highly anticipated Prime Video docuseries focused on trailblazing women CEOs.
The retired tennis legend, who recently shot down rumors of a comeback, isn’t only starring in the project; she’s also executive-producing the new docuseries The CEO Club.
The eight-part series will feature Williams alongside other trailblazing women "as they navigate their professional and personal lives as leaders in their respective fields."
"Redefining what it means to lead in today’s world, these women enter the next phase of their careers with confidence and clarity forged by life experiences," the press release notes.
Joining Williams are Latin superstar Thalía, designer Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, SHOP.COM CEO Loren Ridinger, supermodel and Cay Skin founder Winnie Harlow, Conteur Capital founder Hannah Bronfman and founder of ISA Grutman jewelry and Rangel Isabela Rangel Grutman.

The stars of the empowering series also said in a joint statement, "We opened the doors to our worlds from the triumphs, to the challenges, and the moments that shaped us. We can’t wait for audiences to be inspired to lead with purpose and confidence.”

The CEO Club will premiere on Prime Video on Feb. 23, 2026.
As for what else the future holds for Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion previously revealed her focus will include spending more time at home with her family and her venture capital (VC) firm, Serena Ventures, focused on early-stage businesses.
As for her work as an executive producer, she previously released King Richard in 2021, a biopic about her coach and father, along with an eight-part docuseries called In the Arena. Up next, she's working on the TV adaptation of Taylor Jenkin Reid’s novel, Carrie Soto Is Back, to tell the story of a tennis player who exits retirement.
