The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Taylor Frankie Paul has allegedly failed multiple drug tests, resulting in her parenting time being reduced by a judge.
According to TMZ, the reality star failed multiple court-ordered drug tests amid custody battles with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Taylor shares two children with Tate and her youngest child with Mortensen.
Per sources who spoke with the outlet, the test failures occurred in the last 60 days, and as a result, the court reportedly ordered that Taylor be limited to eight hours of parenting time each week—four hours with her two oldest children with Tate and four hours with her youngest with Mortensen.
The alleged substances involved are unknown, however, TMZ reports that at least one of them is not commonly available as a prescription medication.
A source close to Taylor also told the publication that there’s been a strict gag order in her case, and that any information given to the media is a “continuation” of “harassment and intimidation” tied to Taylor’s ongoing custody disputes.
The alleged reduction in her parenting time comes just months after a judge expanded Taylor’s parenting schedule to one weekday and alternating weekends, all of which are unsupervised. Taylor had previously lost custody of her youngest son amid domestic violence cases with Mortensen.
Back in February, the Draper and West Jordan police departments in Utah opened separate domestic violence investigations regarding alleged altercations between Paul and Mortensen.
Although neither party was ultimately charged, Paul’s season of The Bachelorette was postponed indefinitely after a never-before-seen video was released that appeared to show her assaulting Mortensen back in 2023.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ season 5, which was released on Sept. 10, revealed that Paul rekindled her romance with Mortensen just days after getting engaged to one of her suitors on The Bachelorette. To date, ABC has not announced any plans to air her season.
Following the season’s airing, castmate Mikayla Matthews announced her departure from the series after season 6, hinting it was largely in part to Taylor’s behavior, and co-star Mayci Neeley also revealed she is rethinking her participation in the show.
