The Good Morning America host introduced his precious new puppy, Stanley, during the Monday, Dec. 8 broadcast, giving the adorable dachshund a warm welcome into the GMA family.
"America, meet Stanley Stephanopoulos," read the caption on a new Instagram video showing Stanley's debut in the GMA studio.

View this post on InstagramThe TV anchor said the pup was originally given the name "Roe," but it was his wife Ali Wentworth who instantly decided that "Stanley" was his name.
Stanley joins the Stephanopoulos family just two months after the death of their previous dachshund, Daisy, who died in October at the age of 17.

"Stanley, you won the jackpot! You're a Stephanopoulos," anchor Robin Roberts told the pooch during Monday's show, adding, "Life is good!"
