Arngrim recounts how, during the late '60s, Stewart had roommates and came home to a man passed out on the couch, who happened to be Morrison. She adds that they quickly hit it off, with Morrison telling her he needed to get out of town.

Arngrim adds how, once removing all the gossip, rock n'roll craze, and acting out, Morrison was "really a very sweet guy."
In her interview with Fox News, Stewart insisted she became Morrison's confidant and denied wanting to be in a relationship.
"All I wanted was to be his friend," she shared. "He drank like I drank at that time. So we became trusted friends. He could count on me."
