Hershey's fans are hoping for a wider release of a particular flavor of its Kisses, gushing over the variety as some of "the best" chocolate they've ever eaten.
The century-old chocolate company perfected its conical milk chocolates in 1907, and in the 118 years since, the iconic line has grown to be so successful that there are now countless varieties. From permanent Kisses flavors to the seasonal spinoffs and holiday editions that fans wait "all year" for and limited-edition collabs, there's Hershey's Kiss for all tastes.
And some customers are now realizing there's another Hershey's Kiss flavor they've been overlooking—but it's not all their fault.
The variety originated as part of a line exclusive to Hershey's stores, its Flavors of the World collection, which mixes internationally inspired ingredients into Hershey's chocolate and offers U.S. customers a sampling of what the brand is churning out around the globe. (Surprisingly, its new Dubai-inspired chocolate bar didn't release under this label.)

The current collection includes offers like Hazelnut Kisses and Strawberry Kisses (both available in Hershey's Asia and select Middle East markets), as well as Chocolate Truffle and Cafe Moka Kisses (available in Latin America). The flavors, from what we can tell, have all been on the market for at least one year, but the latter has recently landed in Target stores, so it's pretty new to most fans and it's quickly rising to the top of lists.
Hershey's Fans Are 'Hunting Down' Its Cafe Moka Kisses
Hershey's Cafe Moka Kisses take the rich, bold and "invigorating" flavor of espresso and stuff it into the creamy center of the teardrop-shaped milk chocolate kiss (a similar combination is also available in Hershey's Nuggets, which features dark chocolate instead).
"Wow," one reviewer said of the candy, calling it some of "the best pieces of chocolate I have ever eaten."
"Love them!" another exclaimed. "Please have these all year round and not just as a limited seasonal flavor."
"Unique flavor," a third shared, "Hard to say but it's in the top three of my all time favorites."
"On my hunting list," one more teased.
For those wondering, the only discernible difference between the Cafe Moka Kisses found in stores and those exclusive to the Hershey's Flavor of the World line appears to be the packaging, bag size and availability.
At Hershey's Chocolate World Stores, the Cafe Moka Kisses are wrapped in gold foils with brown stripes, available in a 10-ounce bag ($9.99), and don't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.
At Target, the flavor is in a taupe-colored bag with snowflakes and other wintery imagery, but the same gold foils with brown stripes drape the bite-sized chocolates. However, you won't have all the time in the world to find 'em at the chain, as the release only looks to be part of its holiday stock. Come January, these might be a rarer find, which is a bummer for deal-hunters, as the Kisses are a slightly better deal at Target when purchased at regular price ($4.99 for a 6.5-ounce bag).
That said, Hershey's is currently running a 20 percent off sale on all its exclusives, so if you can forgo the holiday-appropriate packaging and order online via Hershey's, you can score a 10-ounce bag for $7.99 (before shipping).
